A STRONG EMPHASIS ON SAFETY.

We have been cost-containment certified by the State of Colorado since 2005 and extend to our clients the advantages of an EMR well below 1.0. Key to our safety program is a designated safety director who takes an active role from initial project analysis through completion. Our continual training, audits and re-certification efforts have yielded federal and local awards and recognition. Examples include:

  • In 2009, a Circle of Safety award from Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s workers compensation provider, recognized our superior safety preparation and performance.
  • We have received seven consecutive years’ recognition (2004-2010) from the international Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA), for our ongoing commitment to safety education and practice.
  • The Mechanical Contractors Association of America has awarded us a three-year (2008-2010) recognition for safety excellence.
  • In 2010, Legacy earned its national certification to perform fire damper life safety inspections. These regular inspections are mandated by The Joint Commission, Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., International Code Council and the National Fire Protection Association.
